The Counsellor will be available every Friday on our college campus, and on other days at our Swamy Vivekanandha Medical College Hospital and Research Center.

Responsibilities of The Student Counsellor:

To conduct regular training program on Psychological first aid, identification of warning signs and response to self-harm for students
Interacting with students to identify solutions and set achievable goals
Listening to students and their worries and observing their behaviours in a non-judgemental manner
Conducting individual career guidance and skills assessment sessions
Reporting potential violence or abuse against students through the proper channels
